Surprises can be such fun--and then again, "A woman mistakenly threw
out a mattress with $1 million inside...she bought her elderly mother a
new mattress as a surprise and threw out the old one, only to discover
that her mother had hidden her life savings inside. When she went to
look for the mattress it had already been taken by garbage men."

There are those times when we want nothing more than we want guidance;
when we really need to be able to gaze into the future. Whether we look
to friends for good counsel or consult an astrological chart, we are
predisposed to seek guidance; always hoping it will be sound and right
on target because there is always that lingering doubt about our
ability to make the best decision.

tangibly obvious than in moments of crisis. When the First Lady plants

The "other-worldly" realm in which I presently function seems far
removed from the God-fearing practicality of my childhood and the
worldliness of the lifestyle sandwiched in between. The place where I
finally found ME is not only removed from, but ignored or condemned by,
those within the more earthly focused lifestyles.
