Give me strength
To hold fast to you.

In such a negative world
It is so difficult to do.

Illusion, Confusion
Threaten every soul.

We must cling to our faith
In you alone we are whole.

Focusing on you and life
Where we want to be.

Has only to do with our inner world
Involves clear vision in thee.

Help us crucify the falseness
Embrace another dark night.

To soar the heavens with eagles
In Everlasting.

Our world is becoming more and more bombarded by negativity. Hurricanes, earthquakes, wars, mud slides, flooding and more. I am far from an expert or a prophet, but it seems that God is beckoning for us to return to basics and Him. How can we do that?

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself. Luke 10:27

Has God become a convenience store in our lives? Do we talk and share with Him only when we want something? Have we become so concerned with the world because everyone wants a piece of us, because we have allowed our desires to hide the true world as created by God? Remember that the world was a perfect creation--man has destroyed it in his stupidity and desire to control. Are we so afraid of what is to come? Or do we let go and let God?

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. James 5:6-7

And so cherished family, we are never alone but always loved and protected. So must we all live in humility and love! We must only trust the Lord. The body can be crucified but the spirit cannot!

"But I will surely deliver you and you shall not fall by the sword, but your life shall be as a prize to you because you have put your trust in me", says the Lord. Jeremiah 39:18
