- Carnal world, do not call to me...
I have left your window of availability..
I have stepped out from the edge of
the darkness that once held my entire
focus.
The eternal light that blots out all of my
past and shines forever into my future,
now lights my path.
The emptiness that once consumed me,
in all of it's significance, now calls to my
Earthly heart and mind in vain.
The hollow, shallow desires of the world
cannot entice me with all of their rain.
I am free to be and only because of a
totally, completely selfless love and
acceptance that He offered with one
single act of compassion.
