Life is a lot like these roads that I drive on everyday. Life is full of curves, twists, and turns. Sometimes it seems like the uphill climb will last forever and then suddenly you find yourself coasting downhill and enjoying the view. You can't always see beyond the next curve to what lies ahead, but still you have to trust that God will lead you to where you need to go.

I know that my own life has taken more curves than I ever thought it would. It has twisted and turned in ways that I would never have planned and yet it has taken me to right where I needed to be. Along the way I have been carsick more than once, but I have also seen wonderful beauty, experienced great learning, and met many fellow travelers who have helped me to grow in love and joy. I am still traveling on my life's curvy road and I still have a long way to go. I am confident, however, that God will use it to take me home.

As you travel on your own road of life don't be scared. The road may be curvy, but every twist and turn in it can lead you to greater love and joy if you let it. Travel this road with a smile on your face, laughter in your heart, and a song in your soul and know that God will see to it that this road leads you home.
