The second miracle that God gave me concerns matters of the heart.
My first marriage ended in divorce after ten years.
I raised my two daughters alone, and it was
a constant struggle.
Nothing I seemed to do on my own, ever worked out.
So, it occurred to me--why not turn this over to God?
After many years of being single,
I began to pray to God for help.
I would let God know that it was O.K. with me
to remain single. Deep down, I knew that
I wanted a relationship, but I accepted
being single.
In my prayer time, I would talk to God, and tell him
that I only wanted a good relationship. I had had enough
of the bad ones!
Would you like to know how God answered this prayer?
God brought into my life a wonderful man, who had
lost his wife through illness.
At first, we had no romantic interest in each other.
We were friends.
But, God had made other plans for us.
A few short months after we began dating,
we were married.
God has really blessed us!
Together, we have five grandchildren, a full life, and
for the first time in my life, I have a happy
home life!
