If we find peace of mind and happiness through knowing ourselves, we need times daily when we are free to focus within, without being distracted by others. In a healthy life, doing is balanced with being. Acknowledge the value of stillness and solitude and make space for it in your life.
All of the world's sacred texts recommend that we seek solitude every day. Quiet time, thinking time, stillness for prayer or meditation. When his workload increased, Mahatma Ghandi would spend more time in meditation and still complete his work each day.
In silence you can find control, order, clarity, health, answers and peace of mind. In silence you can find truth, pure higher awareness, illumination and a direct path to the divine state.
Most sports allow for breaks or rest periods every 20, 30 or 90 minutes. Give yourself periodic breaks. Relieve the pressure. Get a new perspective. Re-energize.
