    We Matter!

For me, the best aspect of blogging is the opportunity to relate my ideas without being interrupted by someone who is smarter than I. I already know I'm not the most brilliant, but I still want my moment to shine even though I'm just another ordinary bulb.

Only a minute few have the privilege of experiencing the rarefied air at the top of the heap while the rest of us are just trying to get a breath of air. I have no problem with being ordinary, but I have a huge problem with being turned off. My light wants to shine as bright as its capable of shining. So does everyone else. And together, we small glimmers of light do create an enormous illumination which can be seen around the world and into the heavens.

Now what really matters most of all, is where we choose to let our light be seen--will we stand for good, will we stand for bad, or will we keep our light turned low so we don't have to make a choice? Keep in mind that a vote for good stands alone while a vote for bad or a failure to vote work together to conceal the good.

"I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I love. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me; it is a sort of splendid torch which I’ve got a hold of for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations." --George Bernard Shaw

    I matter!
    You matter!!
Let the world see the brightness of our lives!
