I Must Stand Fast and Strong

Dear Lord,

You continue sending such turbulance into
my solace life such arduous tests of strength.
I am so tired, I want to put down my sword but
I must not show defeat. I must stand fast and
strong. I will not be shaken in my faith. I will
continue to find the courgage to to disarm the
enemy that does battle with my heart and my trust.

Sometimes I have to ask whether it's friend or
foe that enters my life bearing gifts and a smile
Though afraid to trust I give my heart only to
find pain once again

But my LORD,I will go on with my journey for it is
not yet over for me on earth. I shall find my peace
in Your will for my life and if You find that I
already have the love meant for me, then I will
accept my fate in my deepest loneliness and go on
with you at my side with the knowledge and promise
that my suffering will make me perfect in Your
Paradise. My reward is yet to be found in a better
place where no one can touch me, no one can hurt
me ever again.

And so I ask God to grant me the serenity to accept
the things that I can't change,
The courage to change the things that I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
