To many
The word "Faith"
Rings empty.
To others
It's threatening.
To myself and many others
It represents
A belief in power
Greater than ourselves
Which
Over time
Has proven itself
By pulling us out
Of some of the seemingly
Impossible situations
Anyone could place themselves into.
Contrary to what many think
It isn't a complex maze
Of gestures and prayers.
It is simply a calling for help
In a time of need
And then totally believing
That it will come.
I believe in a Creator of all things
Who loves and cares for me
More than any Earthly parent can.
It's just that simple!
